U.S. Rep. Roger Williams meets with Breckenridge constituents for ‘Coffee With Your Congressman’
U.S. Rep. Roger Williams, who represents Texas’ District 25 that includes Stephens County, was in Breckenridge this morning, Tuesday, Feb. 14, for “Coffee With Your Congressman.”
He visited with a handful of community members at the Technology Center on the Texas State Technical College campus. Williams spoke to the group for about 20 minutes before taking questions from those in attendance. He discussed U.S. border issues, the national debt, the economy and other topics.
Williams has offices in Arlington, Cleburne and Washington, D.C. The U.S. House of Representatives is currently in a “district work period,” which is a time when the representatives can return to their home districts to meet with their constituents. They are scheduled to return to Washington, D.C., for the continuation of the 118th Congress on Monday, Feb. 27.
