Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce to host Walker Street Trick-or-Treat on Oct. 31
The Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Walker Street Trick-or-Treat on Halloween, Monday, Oct. 31, with local businesses on Walker Street and beyond handing out candy to kids for the holiday.
The event will take place during the regular business hours of the participating businesses, mostly from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but some businesses may close earlier or stay open later. The wide range of hours allows younger children and daycares to trick-or-treat early in the day, and then school-age kids can stop by after school.
New this year will be an opportunity for businesses that do not have a store front on Walker Street to set up in front of the Stephens County Courthouse from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A complete list of participating Chamber member businesses will be posted online on Friday, Oct. 28. Additionally, parents can stop by the Chamber on Monday morning, Oct. 31. to pick up a printed list of participating businesses.
