Phillip Aaron Jeffers, born to Stephen and Catherine Jeffers on October 16, 1964, passed away at his residence in Breckenridge, Texas, on Saturday, August 20, 2022. Phillip is survived by his wife, RaeAnna Jeffers; sons, Ethan Jeffers and Keenan Green; daughter, Danielle Jeffers; grandson, Malakai (arriving in January 2023); brother, Steven Jeffers; nieces, Stephanie Jeffers and Erin Jeffers; mother, Catherine “Taffy” Jeffers; along with many loving friends and colleagues.

Phillip graduated from Longview High School and then attended Texas A&M, where he graduated with a degree in Psychology. His career spanned two decades in the car finance industry, first starting as a collector, and then working his way up to Assistant Vice President of Operational Reporting at GM Financial in Fort Worth. Outside of work, Phil’s interests included spending time with his family, listening to music, playing guitar, and enjoying outdoor activities — especially hiking with Rae.

Spending time with his wife, Rae who he met in 2000, was his top priority. The couple married in 2004 after the birth of their daughter, Dani. They resided as a blended family in Arlington, moving to Fort Worth in 2006. Phil and Rae moved to Breckenridge in 2020 to fulfill a lifelong dream of living on the lake.

A small, private gathering will be held in his hometown of Longview, Texas, where his cremains will be laid to rest among family.

The family does not have the capacity to receive flowers or tangible items due to limited space, so the best solution for those who wish to honor Phil’s memory was to establish a memorial fund to help support Phil’s soon-to-be-born grandson, Malakai. All donations will be directed toward that purpose. Donations can be left at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.

We know Phil loved all of you and would thank you wholeheartedly if he could. We are incredibly grateful for everyone’s love and support. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
