Stephens County District Attorney’s office announces plea deals for July 2022

Stephens County District Attorney Dee Peavy’s office recently released the following list of plea deals that were made in the 90th Judicial District Court in July 2022:

Tamera Sue Castaneda, 45, Breckenridge, pleaded true to the violations alleged in the State’s Motion to Proceed to Adjudicate for the offense of Delivery of Controlled Substance Four Grams or More but Less Than 200 Grams – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 10 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – Institutional Division (TDCJ-ID) and ordered to pay remaining fine and court costs.

Mark Allen Clark, 54, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance One Gram or More but Less Than Four Grams – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to seven years TDCJ-ID, and ordered to pay a $1,500 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Johnny Ray Barone, 32, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Assault Family/House Member – Impede Breath/Circulation and was sentenced to four years confinement in TDCJ-ID, and ordered to pay$1,500.00 fine and court costs.

Fabian Ray Acosta, 19, Breckenridge, pleaded true to the violations alleged in the State’s Motion to Proceed to Adjudicate for the offense of Fail to Comply with Sex Offenders Duty to Register and was sentenced to 14 months confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – State Jail Division (TDCJ-SJ), and ordered to pay remaining court costs; pleaded true to the violations alleged in the State’s Motion to Proceed to Adjudicate Community Supervision for the offense of Burglary of Building and was sentenced to 14 months confinement in TDCJ-SJ, and ordered to pay remaining restitution and court costs; and pleaded true to the violations alleged in the State’s Motion to Proceed to Adjudicate Community Supervision for the offense of Unauthorized Use of Vehicle and was sentenced to 14 months confinement in TDCJ-SJ, and ordered to pay remaining fine and court costs.

Jose Gilberto Vargas, 22, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Arson – Reckless Damage Building and was sentenced to 14 months confinement in TDCJ-SJ, and ordered to pay $1,000 fine and court costs.

Beth Ann Timms, 41, Graham, pleaded true to the violations alleged in the State’s Motion to Proceed to Adjudicate Community Supervision for the offense of Theft of Property $2,500 or More but Less Than $30,000 and was sentenced to 13 months confinement in TDCJ-SJ, and ordered to pay remaining restitution and court costs.

Troy Nathan Brown, 19, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Less Than One Gram – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 180 days confinement in the Stephens County Jail, and ordered to pay restitution and court costs.

Lynette Marie Hope, 53, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Less Than One Gram – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 60 days confinement in the Stephens County Jail, and ordered to pay restitution and court costs.

Mark Emerson Brown, 39, Millsap, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver Four Grams or More but Less Than 200 Grams – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 10 years community supervision, and ordered to pay $2,500 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Jason Jared Garvin, 32, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Burglary of Habitation with Intent to Commit Assault and was sentenced to 10 years community supervision, and ordered to pay $1,000 fine and court costs; and pleaded guilty to the offense of Prohibited Substance/Item in Correctional Facility and was sentenced to 10 years community supervision, and ordered to pay restitution and court costs.

Billy Edward Campbell, Jr., 37, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance One Gram or More but Less Than Four Grams – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to five years community supervision, and ordered to pay $1,500 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Thomas Edward Foley, 38, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Driving While Intoxicated with Child Under 15 Years of Age and was sentenced to five years community supervision, and ordered to pay $3,000 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Jennifer Lynn Roberts, 41, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Less Than One Gram – Methamphetamine and sentenced to five years community supervision, and ordered to pay $500 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Jesse Allen Alexander, 32, Moran, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Less Than One Gram – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to four years community supervision, and ordered to pay $750 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Candi Jo Hutchison, 53, Albany, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance One Gram or More but Less Than Four Grams – Methenamine and was sentenced to four years community supervision, and ordered to pay $1,500 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Alexandria Nicole Morales, 21, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Burglary of Habitation and was sentenced to four years community supervision, and ordered to pay $750 fine and court costs.

Mathew Scott Presley, 42, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Less Than One Gram – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to four years community supervision, and ordered to pay $1,500 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Zachary Brian Snowden, 20, Eastland, pleaded guilty to the offense of Evading Arrest or Detention with Vehicle and was sentenced to four years community supervision, and ordered to pay $1,500 fine and court costs.

Cathi Nicole Valdez, 31, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to four years community supervision, and ordered to pay $500 fine and court costs.

Celeste Nicole Villarreal, 23, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse and was sentenced to four years community supervision, and ordered to pay $1,500 fine and court costs.

James Robert Fitch, 51, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Less Than One Gram – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to three years community supervision, and ordered to pay $1,500 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Daniel Alberto Funes, 29, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Less Than One Gram – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to three years community supervision, and ordered to pay $1,500 fine, restitution, and court costs.

Jackson Matthews, 19, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Invasive Visual Recording and was sentenced to three years community supervision, and ordered to pay court costs; and pleaded guilty to the offense of Invasive Visual Recording and was sentenced to three years community supervision, and ordered to pay court costs.

Tiana Gayle McFarland, 43, Graham, pleaded guilty to the offense of Hinder Apprehension or Prosecution of Known Felon and was sentenced to three years community supervision, and ordered to pay $750 fine and court costs.

Joe Patrick Perez, 29, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Less Than One Gram – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to three years community supervision, and ordered to pay $750 fine and court costs.

William Chad Proffitt, 44, Graham, pleaded guilty to the offense of Burglary of Habitation and was sentenced to three years community supervision, and ordered to pay $500 fine and court costs.

Vonesa Fatime Vraniqi, 41, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Less Than One Gram – Methamphetamine (Lesser Included Offense) and was sentenced to three years community supervision, and ordered to pay restitution and court costs.
