Rogers-Crawford to head Chamber as Interim Executive Director

Former Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Rhonda Rogers-Crawford has been named the Interim Executive Director for the Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce following the departure of Executive Director Colton Buckley earlier this year.
“(Rhonda) brings a wealth of experience to this position, having been the Executive Director in the past,” Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce President Jonathan Newton said in an email announcing Rogers-Crawford’s appointment. “The Board is very confident that Rhonda is the right person to serve in this capacity as we continue implementing our transition plan to find a permanent executive staff leader.”
Rogers-Crawford said by appointing her as interim, the board was looking for someone to provide consistency through the transition while they are searching for a new permanent executive director. She said since she has held the executive director position before and was already handling the Chamber’s bookkeeping duties, it allowed her to step in and take over a with good understanding of the duties required.
Rogers-Crawford was hired in May to do the bookkeeping for the Chamber, Breckenridge Economic Development Corporation and the Industrial Foundation.
