Former Breckenridge Fire Chief Calvin Chaney will be honored with a come-and-go retirement reception from 4 to 5:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, March 1, in the Breckenridge City Commission Chambers at 105 N. Rose Ave.

Chaney retired from the position in January after working 30 years for the City of Breckenridge. He now works for the Texas Commission on Fire Protection.

His original retirement party was postponed when the City offices closed for several days in January due to a COVID-19 exposure.
