Businesses handing out candy today for Walker Street Trick-or-Treat
The Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with local businesses to host the annual Walker Street Trick-or-Treat today.
Breckenridge businesses will be handing out candy throughout the day, until their regular closing times or they run out of candy. Each participating business will have a sign to post in their window, indicating that they are taking part in the activity and still have candy available. The official Walker Street Trick-or-Treat list of participating businesses is featured below:

Additionally, the Chamber has added the following businesses to the list of those that are handing out candy:
Stephens County Courthouse (EAST DOOR) – 200 W. Walker St.
According to the Chamber’s Facebook page, MaBelle’s will not be able to hand out candy today.
In addition to today’s event, the following activities are scheduled for Halloween evening, Sunday, Oct. 31:
First Baptist Churchβs Festival of Lights
First Baptist Church of Breckenridge, 301 S. Rose Ave., will host its Festival of Lights event from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31. The activities are for kids up to sixth grade
Elliott Street Church of Christβs Trunk or Treat
Elliott Street Church of Christ, 1701 W. Elliott St., will host a Trunk or Treat event for kids from 5 to 6:30 p.m. or until the candy runs out on Sunday, Oct. 31. Masks are recommended.
First United Churchβs Trunk or Treat
First United Church of Breckenridge, 419 W. Walker St., will host a Trunk or Treat event for kids in the churchβs parking lot from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31.
