Fifth graders present Constitution play at Woman’s Forum meeting
The Breckenridge Woman’s Forum recently enjoyed their first meeting of the year, which included a presentation about the U.S. Constitution by fifth graders from South Elementary.
Lisa Echols, a Woman’s Forum member and also a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, introduced the students. After the program, forum members who were members of DAR were also recognized.

- New Jersey – Lindsey Boggs
- North Carolina – Henson McClymond
- Georgia – Blaire Walker
- New Hampshire – Kase Hutchens
Also during the meeting, President Mary Edwards introduced new members and shared that the Murder Mystery Dinner fundraiser held in August was a success. The community project was “Back to SCHOOL SUPPLIES Round-up,” and the members were donated school supplies to benefit every campus.
Courtesy and Welcome chairman Allison Bassler welcomed guests and led the prayer before the members enjoyed a meal catered by Canyon Road. The hostess committee was chaired by Teeny Pearce and included Ann Heckart (co-chair), Sammy Blades, Beth Calvert, Betty Fields and Sharon Shaw.
