The Breckenridge Lions Club will host its second annual Scholarship Cornhole Tournament beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Trade Barn in the Breckenridge City Park.

There will be cash prizes, and proceeds will benefit local scholarships. Last year’s event enabled the organization to award four $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors.

The Championship Division will cost $50 per team, and the Social Division will cost $20 per team. There will also be Challenge Matches again this year.

Prizes will include $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place, and $250 for third place.

Additionally, there will be a fundraising raffle for a custom-made cornhole board set, valued at $350. Raffle tickets will cost $10 for three. The winner does not have to be present to win.

To buy raffle tickets or get more information about the tournament, call 254-522-5788.
