Buckaroos pose for photos, play football and enjoy some watermelon on Saturday
The Breckenridge High School Buckaroos football team wrapped up their first week of Fall 2021 practice with an inter-squad scrimmage and team pictures on Saturday, Aug. 7.
The scrimmage, dubbed the annual Watermelon Scrimmage, was followed by a watermelon feast provided by the Breckenridge All-Sports Booster Club.
Before the game, photographer Rachelle Perry took the official photos of the teams, as well as of the players and their families.

The Buckaroos will play their first scrimmage against an outside opponent on Friday, Aug. 13. The game against the Vernon High School Lions will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Buckaroo Stadium. The first regular season game will be Friday, Aug. 27, in Breckenridge against the Jacksboro High School Tigers. Homecoming will be Friday, Sept. 3, against the Ballinger High School Bearcats. The district games will start on Oct. 8 at home against the Clyde High School Bulldogs.
