First National Bank of Breckenridge once again achieved 100 percent participation in the annual fundraising campaign for the Breckenridge United Fund. This is the sixth year for the accomplishment.

United Fund members gathered Tuesday morning, March 16, to recognize the FNB employees for the achievement. Additionally, the bank matched the employees’ contributions.

United Fund President Sherry Strickland said that, as of March 11, the United Fund campaign is at 77 percent of its $18,000 goal with donations totaling $13,903.79.

“In view of this last year, we were prepared for the worst,” Strickland said. “So, we were pleased by how generous everybody has been. Everybody has been great.”
