Breckenridge Elks Lodge donates funds to Hubbard Creek Volunteer Fire Department
Members of local Elks Lodge #1480 presented a donation to the Hubbard Creek Volunteer Fire Department last week, and two other volunteer fire departments will receive donations next week.
The Breckenridge Elks Lodge applied for and received two grants, the Beacon Grant and the Spotlight Grant, from the Elks National Foundation.
Tony Smith and Tom Claybrook accepted a $2,000 check on behalf of the Hubbard Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
The Elks Lodge also will donate $1,750 each to the Wayland Volunteer Fire Department and the Caddo Volunteer Fire Department.
