Home-side tickets for tonight’s Buckaroo game sold out; game will be live-streamed
The Breckenridge High School varsity football team will take on the Holliday Eagles tonight in Buckaroo Stadium in the last pre-district game of the season.
Tickets to the Game
The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Friday, Sept. 25, and Senior Night activities will begin at about 6:45 p.m. (See more information below.) Tickets may be purchased online, but seats for the Home side of the stadium are sold out, according to the BISD ticketing website. Tickets are still available for the Visitor side. The tickets will cost $5 each, plus a processing fee. Click here to purchase tickets.
Tickets that were purchased in advance for last week’s game, which was canceled, may be used for entrance into tonight’s game against Holliday.
Breckenridge Independent School District asks those attending to observe social distancing guidelines, as required by the UIL. Additionally, by purchasing the tickets, the purchaser is attesting that they do not have COVID-19 symptoms.
The Buckaroos will have an Open week on Oct. 2 and will travel to Clyde to play the Bulldogs on Oct. 9. Tickets to the Clyde game may be purchased on the Clyde ISD website beginning the week of the game.
Tickets for the remaining Buckaroo home games will be available on the BISD website about a week before each game.
Senior Night
The annual Senior Night will be celebrated tonight before the game. Activities are scheduled to begin at about 6:45 p.m. at the stadium.
Seniors who are in football, band, cheerleading, cross country and the helmet crew will be honored, along with their parents and/or other family members.
Livestream
Due to the social distancing restrictions placed on schools to try and prevent the spread of COVID-19, the UIL is allowing schools to broadcast live video from the sporting events this year. BISD started livestreaming this week.
