Breckenridge man arrested on Friday on charges of online solicitation of a minor

Jon Mykal Abila, age 22, of Breckenridge was arrested on a warrant and charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor at 8:24 a.m. on Friday, May 22, according to a press release and arrest/log reports from the Breckenridge Police Department.
According to the release, Abila surrendered himself for arrest at the Stephens County Law Enforcement Center and was booked into the Stephens County Jail.
Bond was set at $10,000, and Abila bonded out later that day.
A search warrant was executed at Abila’s residence at 2:51 p.m. May 22 for electronic devices and computers.
The BPD said that the investigation is ongoing and no additional information is available at this time.
