Three Breckenridge community leaders will host a Facebook Live event at 3 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 1, to talk about ways local business owners can increase business and about financial assistance during the coronavirus threat.

The event will feature Stephens County Judge Michael Roach; Virgil Moore, CEO and Executive Director of the Breckenridge Economic Development; and Carrie Holson, Executive Director of the Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce. It will be featured on the Stephens County, Texas Facebook page at the following link: https://www.facebook.com/stephenscountytx.gov/?pageid=282857442607433&ftentidentifier=521831022043406&padding=0

They will provide insights on the SBA (Small Business Administration) Loan and Grant programs and will have an interactive discussion about ways to increase your business.  For those who can’t watch the Facebook Live event at 3 p.m., the video will remain on the Stephens County Facebook page afterwards.

Moore recommends that anyone intending to watch the Facebook Live event first call in to the number below at 2 p.m. and listen to the SBA webinar to gain more information about how two new SBA programs may provide business owners with funds needed to get through these tough times. Also, he suggests going to the website sba.gov to follow along as they instruct how to fill out the application for the SBA EIDL loan and grant.

The SBA Skype meetings will be offered several times on the following schedule:
