Stephens County District Attorney Dee Peavy’s office recently released the following list of plea deals that were made recently in the 90th Judicial Court.

November 2019

  • Candice Lynn Carey, 37, Breckenridge, pleaded true to the allegations in the State’s Motion to Adjudicate Community Supervision for the offense of Evading Arrest/Detention with Vehicle and was sentenced to 4 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – Institutional Division (TDCJ-ID), and to pay remaining court costs and fine; and pleaded true to the allegations in the State’s Motion to Revoke Community Supervision for the offense of Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle and was sentenced to 15 months confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – State Jail Division (TDCJ-SJ), and to pay remaining court costs.
  • Samantha Michelle Rodriguez, 29, Breckenridge, pleaded true to the allegations in the State’s Motion to Adjudicate Community Supervision for the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Less Than One Gram – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 12 months TDCJ-SJ, and to pay remaining court cost.
  • Taylor Ann Cates, 26, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse and was sentenced to 180 Days in the Stephens County Jail, and to pay court costs.
  • Skyler Lee Eades, 28, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Four Grams or More but Less Than 200 Grams – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 10 years community supervision, and to pay $1000 fine, restitution, and court costs.
  • Bradley Warren Steffen, 46, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child – Lesser Included Offense and was sentenced to 10 years community supervision, and to pay $5,000 fine and court costs.

December 2019

  • Trevor Adam Hurdsman, 25, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Less Than One Gram – Methamphetamine – Lesser Included Offense and was sentenced to 13 months confinement in TDCJ-SJ, and to pay restitution and court costs.

January 2020

  • Sean Mathew Wagner, 32, Breckenridge, pleaded true to the allegations in the State’s Motion to Revoke Community Supervision for the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Four Grams or More but Less Than 200 Grams – Methamphetamine – Lesser Included Offense and was sentenced to 15 years confinement in Texas Department of Criminal Justice – Institutional Division, and to pay court costs; pleaded true to the allegations in the State’s Motion to Revoke Community Supervision for the offense of Delivery of Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine One Gram or More But Less Than Four Grams and was sentenced to 8 years confinement in TDCJ-ID, and to pay remaining court costs; and, pleaded true to the allegations in the State’s Motion to Adjudicate Community Supervision for the offense of Delivery of Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine One Gram or More But Less Than Four Grams and was sentenced to 8 years confinement in TDCJ-ID, and to pay remaining court costs.
  • Justin Jesse Stephens, 28, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Burglary of Habitation and was sentenced to 5 years confinement in TDCJ-ID, and to pay court costs; and, pleaded true to the allegations in the State’s Motion to Adjudicate Community Supervision for the offense of Burglary of Habitation and was sentenced to 5 years confinement in the TDCJ-ID, and to pay remaining fine and court costs.
  • Victor Manuel Carrasco, 44, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Less Than One Gram – Methamphetamine in Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 10 years community supervision, and to pay $1,500 fine, restitution, and court costs.
  • Jessica Jo Ledbetter, 25, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Four Grams or More but Less Than 200 Grams – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 8 years community supervision, and to pay $1,500 fine and court costs.
  • Harley Ray Merrbaugh, 25, Abilene, pleaded guilty to the offense of Fail to Comply with Sex Offenders Duty to Register – Other Requirement and was sentenced to 5 years community supervision, and to pay $500 fine and court costs.
  • Lorenzo Perales, 27, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse and was sentenced to 5 years community supervision, and to pay $500 fine, restitution, and court costs; and pleaded guilty to the offense of Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse and was sentenced to 5 years community supervision, and to pay court costs.
  • Beth Ann Timms, 39, Graham, pleaded guilty to the offense of Theft of Property $2,500 or More but Less Than $30,000 and was sentenced to 5 years community supervision, and to pay restitution and court costs.
  • Ashley Nicole Lopez, 33, Abilene, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Less Than One Gram – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 4 years community supervision, and to pay $500 fine, restitution, and court costs.
