Construction workers removed the turf from Buckaroo Stadium this week in preparation for the new turf that arrived last week. On Wednesday afternoon, they were working on rolling up the last strip of the artificial grass.

Late last year, the Breckenridge Independent School District Board of Trustees approved a contract with Carter Construction Company to resurface the football field with AstroTurf.

Bryan Dieterich, BISD Chief Operations Officer, said the resurfacing project should be complete in about three weeks.
