Mahan’s retirement reception slated for Friday, Jan. 17

There will be a retirement reception for Breckenridge Police Chief Larry Mahan from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at the Breckenridge Fine Arts Center, 207 N. Breckenridge Ave. The event will be open to the public.
Mahan officially announced his retirement in November. His last day will be at the end of January.
He has served as the Chief of Police for 21 years and has worked for the City of Breckenridge for 32 years.
