One person died in a one-vehicle rollover on U.S. Highway 183 about 12 miles north of Breckenridge on Friday morning, April 19.

According to Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Robert McGrath, the 2010 Ford F-250, which was towing a trailer, was traveling southbound on U.S. 183 and left the roadway. After leaving the roadway, the vehicle apparently crashed through a barbed wire fence into a pasture, traveled several feet inside the fence line and then rolled over.

A DPS report identifies the deceased as Glen Ray Moore, 69, of Throckmorton.

In addition to DPS, emergency crews from the Breckenridge Fire Department, Stephens County Sheriff Department and Sacred Cross Emergency Medical Services responded to the accident.
