Local 4-H Plant ID team places first at Fort Worth contest
The Stephens County 4-H Plant ID team participated in the Fort Worth contest last week and brought home ribbons for first place, third place and high point individual.
The Junior Plant ID team of Hannah Moreno, Nathan Tatum, Kason Burchett and Josiah Moreno won first place. Additionally, Hannah won first place overall and high point individual; Nathan placed fifth overall; Kason placed sixth overall; and Josiah placed eighth overall, reported Sumer Russell, Stephens County Extension Agent.
The Junior Plant ID team of Rachel Burchett, Brysen Hash, Chloe Tait and Isaac Tait placed third in the competition.
