Taste of the Holidays scheduled for Tuesday
The Breckenridge community can try out a variety of local restaurants all in one place next week during the Rotary Club of Breckenridge’s third annual Taste of the Holidays.

This year, the Taste of the Holidays event will be decorated with Christmas trees and wreaths from the Breckenridge Fine Arts Center’s fundraiser. (For more information about the BFAC’s Christmas trees and wreaths, click here for the Breckenridge Texan article.)
The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at The Popular, 103 W. Walker, in Breckenridge. Live music will be provided by Kyle Fambro.
Tickets are available from any Rotarian, at Breckenridge InterBank or First National Bank of Albany/Breckenridge, or by calling 254-522-2083. Advance tickets cost $20; at the door Tuesday night, tickets will cost $25. Proceeds benefit the Rotary Club Community Projects.
The culinary fundraiser will include food from the following:
- The Marketplace
- Angelita’s Mexican Restaurant
- Alfredo’s
- United Supermarkets
- JR’s BBQ
- Walmart
- Ernie’s Spanish Kitchen
- Pure Texas Honey
The event is sponsored by InterBank of Breckenridge, McDonald’s, First National Bank, Strickland’s Inspections, Air EVAC-Eastland, and H&H Garden Center.
Door prizes and donations will be provided by: Chicken Express, Bunkhouse Diva, The Vintage Butterfly, Bertie & Olif Boutique, H&H Garden Center, Stephens Memorial Hospital Gift Shop, Elaine Goswick/Independent Mary Kay Consultant, Main Street Floral & Gift Shop, 40 Something Cowgirls, and Gebo Distributing, Inc.
