Breckenridge – Jennifer Ann Brown, 38, passed from this life on October 30, 2018. A memorial service will be held at the Gunsight Baptist Church in Breckenridge at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 5, 2018. Charles Kuhn will be officiating service. The family will welcome friends and family for a visitation at the Melton-Kitchens Chapel on Sunday, November 4, 2018, at 2 p.m. The arrangements are under the care and direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.

Jennifer Ann Brown was born on November 14, 1980, in Breckenridge to Lonnie Anthony and Sandra Brown. She graduated high school in Breckenridge and attended a local college. She had worked numerous jobs in her life, most of them having something to do with animals. Jennifer had a huge love for animals and making sure they were always taken care of. She was always proud to have worked for over five years for the SPCA in Abilene. Jennifer was also a proud mother of four children that she dearly loved, a strong woman that battled breast cancer and won the fight and a true country girl with rock and roll in her blood.

Survivors include her daughters, M’Kayla Folson and Adara Folsom; sons, Alex Folsom and Zane Brown all of Breckenridge; mother, Sandra Brown of Breckenridge; father, Lonnie Anthony Brown of Abilene; sisters, April Joy Brown of Breckenridge and Jamie Lynn Brown of Stephenville; brother, Anthony Bailey Brown of Abilene; grandmother Marian Stracener; Uncle Rick Stracener; and many friends far and wide.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Osmo James Stracener.

The family has requested that any memorials be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and can be left at the funeral home office.
