Early voting in BISD tax ratification election to start Aug. 8

The Breckenridge Independent School District will hold a special election on Saturday, Aug. 25, to ratify the tax rate adopted for the 2018-2019 school year, and early voting in that election begins Wednesday, Aug. 8.

Election Day voting will be on Saturday, Aug. 25, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Breckenridge ISD Administration Office, 208 N. Miller St.

Early voting by personal appearance will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each weekday from Aug. 8 through Aug. 21 at the BISD Administration Building. Additionally, early voting hours will be extended to include 4 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 14.

Applications for ballots by mail should be mailed to: Brittany Edgar, Early Voting Clerk, P.O. Box 1738, Breckenridge, Texas 76424 or brittany.edgar@breckenridgeisd.org.

Applications for ballots by mail and Federal Postcard Applications must be received no later than the close of business on Aug. 9.
