United Fund nears goal, still needs donations

The United Fund of Breckenridge is at 82 percent of this year’s goal of $22,155, and the organization continues to seek donations to raise the final $4,000.
“We are grateful to everyone that has contributed and continue to ask for donations to help in meeting our goal.” said Sherry Strickland, the United Fund president, in an email. “No amount is too small.”
Donations may be mailed to P.O. Box 170 in Breckenridge or dropped off at First National Bank or Breckenridge Interbank.

- Cub Scouts/Boy Scouts
- Breckenridge Junior Bucks
- Breckenridge Little League, Inc.
- Breckenridge Fine Arts Center
- Breckenridge Library

- Friends of Historic Breckenridge
- Girl Scouts
- Meals on Wheels
- The Open Door
- School Health Advisory Committee (SHAC)
- Stephens County Ag and Community Center
- Stephens County Humane Society
- Swenson Memorial Museum
- Stephens County Child Welfare Board
Local sign painter James Knight has painted a new sign for the United Fund. The new sign will be rolled out at Foundation Park when the new campaign year starts on Oct. 1.
