Stephens Memorial Hospital to host Senior Care Forum
Stephens Memorial Hospital will host a Senior Care Forum for the community from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, in the O.C. Heairren Annex, in the 1200 block of East Williams Street, between the hospital and the Breckenridge Medical Center. Speakers will address topics related to long-term care, and there will be time for questions.
Sarah Nadanamoorthi, director of Quality Management at the hospital, said that will feature two speakers who will give a general overview of the type of advice/services which they can help with and then there will be time for individual questions.
“The first speaker will be from Ladyman Law Firm in Stephenville who specializes in assisting folks with planning, assets, financial planning, and setting up long term care options,” Nadanamoorthi said in an email. “They have been especially wonderful us here at SMH. Also, we will have a representative onsite from DSHS in Abilene.”
The organizers of the event say that it will be useful to anyone who has questions about long-term planning, caregivers, family members.
