Thursday, June 21
Family Swim Night
The Breckenridge City Pool will host Family Swim Night from 7:45 to 9:45 p.m. Thursday, June 21. The reduced entry fee will be $1.25 for each person over the age of 3. Concessions will be available.

Saturday, June 23
Benefit Garage Sale and Bake Sale
The Ridge Cowboy Church of Breckenridge will hold a garage sale and bake sale from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 23, to help raise funds to pay for a group of kids to go to church camp. The sale will be held inside at 1818 B W. Walker St., next door to State Farm Insurance, across the street from the Dairy Queen.

Tuesday, June 26
Long-Term Care Forum
Stephens Memorial Hospital will host a Long Term Care Forum for the community from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 26. Speakers will address topics related to long-term care, and there will be time for questions.

Wednesday, June 27
Free Ultrasounds
The Open Door of Breckenridge will be offering free ultrasounds for pregnant women in their first or second trimester (with a proof of pregnancy) on June 27 and again on July 2 at the center, 110 N. Liveoak St. The offer is not based on income, and free ultrasound pictures will be provided. To register, call 254-442-3000 or 254-559-4045.

Through June 29
Quilt Show
The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center’s 2018 Quilt Show opened May 8 and will continue through June 29. The BFAC is located at 207 N. Breckenridge Ave. and is open to the public. For more information, click here to read the Breckenridge Texan article.

Through July 10
Summer Reading Program
The Breckenridge Library’s Summer Reading Program will be at 2 p.m.  every Tuesday through July 10. The program is for elementary age kids in pre-K through sixth grade. For more information, visit the library at 209 N. Breckenridge Ave. or call 254-559-5505.

July 16-21
Children’s Theater Camp
Friends of Historic Breckenridge will host the Missoula’s Children Theatre again this summer for a week-long camp Monday through Saturday, July 16-21. This year the children will present “Gulliver’s Travel” at the end of the camp on Saturday, July 21. Registration is open for kids in Kindergarten through 12th grade. The cost is $50 per student. Tuesday, July 24
Kids Pottery Class
The Stephens County Extension office will offer a Pottery Class for kids in grades 2-12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, at the Extension office, 2622 Highway 180 East (at the intersection of State Highway 67 and U.S. Highway 180). The fee for the class will be $35 per student, and the class is limited to 15 kids. Attendees will need to take a sack lunch. For more information or to register, call Sumer Russell at 254-559-2313.

TSTC Registration Rally
Texas State Technical College will host a Registration Rally from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, in Room 103 in the Breckenridge Center at 307 N. Breckenridge Ave. Visitors can take campus tours and learn about the technical programs offered at TSTC in Breckenridge. For more details, click here to read the full article.
