The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center’s annual Pumpkin Painting Contest will continue Thursday and Friday for kids in grades 2-6. Local kindergartners and first graders painted pumpkins Wednesday.

Second and third graders will paint pumpkins from 4-5:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19; and, fourth, fifth and sixth graders, from 4-5:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20. The judging will take place Saturday, Oct. 21.

The children need to bring a pumpkin, but the BFAC will supply all other supplies. The cost will be $2 per participant or $5 for three or more kids from the same family.

To register a child for the event, call the BFAC at 254-559-6602, send an email to info@breckenridgefineart.org or visit the BFAC at 207 N. Breckenridge Ave. The BFAC is open Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is closed Sundays and Mondays.
