Breckenridge’s First Methodist Church members is working with churches in Eastland and San Angelo, as well as with the Global Methodist Church, to put together “Flood Buckets” to be delivered to flooded areas in Central Texas.

Kevin Simmons, president of the local bank location, presented the United Fund of Breckenridge with a check for $2,500, representing 100 percent participation in the organization’s annual fundraising drive and the bank’s matching donation.
One hundred percent of the employees at Breckenridge’s InterBank donated to this year’s United Fund campaign, helping the charity that helps local organizations.
The Breckenridge Texan is excited to announce that for this year’s annual fundraising campaign, we will have a drawing to give away two hand-made knife sheaths and a couple of Case pocket knives.
