The Breckenridge Buckaroos kicked off the 2023 football season Friday evening in Jacksboro as they took on the Jacksboro Tigers.

This year’s pep rallies will be held at noon on Fridays of home games.
The Breckenridge High School varsity football Buckaroos will open the 2023 season by traveling to Jacksboro to take on the Tigers at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, at Tiger Stadium.
The Breckenridge community had the opportunity to “Meet the Bucks” at the annual spirit event on Friday evening, Aug. 18.
The Watermelon Scrimmage will start at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, in Buckaroo Stadium.
Season tickets for Breckenridge High School home varsity football games are on sale to last year’s season ticket holders beginning at 8 a.m. today, July 10.
The Buckaroos received a total of 33 awards.
The Buckaroos’ 2022 football season came to an end Friday night in Ponder with a 47-7 loss to the Paradise Panthers.
The Buckaroos will take on the Paradise Panthers in the Bi-District game at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, in Ponder.
After Friday night’s win, the Buckaroos are locked into the Class 3A playoffs with one game remaining.
