After years of making floral arrangements for family and friends, Chelsey McClymond recently opened her own shop, Agapé Arrangements, inspired by her grandmother, the late Beverley Eddleman.

With friends, family and Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce members surrounding her on Friday afternoon, Shayla Speck cut the ribbon, officially opening her new business, House of Flowers on West Walker Street.

On Friday morning, a large crowd gathered just inside the Breckenridge Walmart, located at 3800 W. Walker St., to celebrate the store’s grand re-opening and the completion of the recent extensive remodeling project.

The Stephens County UPRA Rodeo starts at 7:30 p.m. tonight and Saturday night at the arena.

Marie’s Bakery LLC, owned by Lexi Tidwell, offers a freshly made menu for breakfast lunch, and custom desserts.

Frontier Days 2025 included a rock-climbing wall, a mechanical bull, other kids activities, a sand volleyball tournament, and a disc golf tournament, as well as a variety of vendors and other activities.
