Sacred Cross EMS claimed its first win in the Breckenridge Rotary Club’s annual Battle of the Badges blood drive contest this summer, edging out local law enforcement and fire departments in the ambulance service’s first time to participate in the friendly competition.

The annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive, hosted by the Breckenridge Rotary Club, is scheduled for Thursday, June 5, and Friday, June 6, and this year’s event includes a new competitor: Sacred Cross EMS.

The Breckenridge Fire Department reclaimed the championship title in the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive, hosted by the Rotary Club of Breckenridge and Carter BloodCare.

The Breckenridge Rotary Club’s annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive is scheduled for Thursday, June 6, and Friday, June 7.

The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office was the winner of the annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive hosted by the Rotary Club of Breckenridge.

The Battle of the Badges Blood Drive will take place June 1-3.

The annual blood drive generated 46 pints of blood.

For the first time in the five-year history of the Breckenridge Rotary Club’s Battle of the Badges blood drive, the Breckenridge Police Department won the friendly competition between the local first responders.

The residents of Stephens County and beyond will have a chance to help the first responders of their choice win the Breckenridge Rotary Club’s fifth annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drives next month.
