Gary Hoffine, Sr., age 71, of Breckenridge, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2026. There are no services planned at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.
Gary Floyd Hoffine was born February 7, 1955, in Pratt, Kansas, to parents, Gene Loys Hoffine and Mary Charlotte Clark. On August 1, 1980, he married Kaye Burrows in Hugoton, Kansas. Gary worked as a mechanic throughout the years. He liked to have a good time and being outdoors. He enjoyed going to the lake, fishing, boating and tubing with the kids. His family will remember him as a fun dad!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene Hoffine and Mary Charlotte Solley; his wife, Kaye Hoffine; one brother, Larry Gene Hoffine; and one brother-in-law, Bryan Coday.
He is survived by his children, Tressie Hoffine, Gary Hoffine, Jr., David Hoffine and Samantha Rodriguez, Jaime Drum, Jennifer Hoffman and Greg; four siblings, Candice Duer and Kerry, Angela Finlason and Larry, Mark Hoffine, Lynn Danner and Lewis; sister-in-law, Faye Coday; brother-in-law, Buddy Burrows and wife Cindy; eleven grandchildren, Jasmine Hoffine, Jolee Hoffine, Zander Hoffine, Elizabeth Hoffine, Aiden Hoffine, KiAsia Campbell, Fantasia Campbell, Hailey Isbell, Bryce Isbell, Kameron Isbell, Jayson Wheeler; numerous great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
