National Theatre to present Bleu Edmondson concert on Feb. 14
Texas Music star Bleu Edmondson will continue his 2025-26 tour with a Valentine’s Day concert at Breckenridge’s National Theatre.
After taking a break from the music scene for several years, Edmondson returned last year with the six-song EP “To the End.” The mini-album includes “King of the Dark,” “Let’s Be Ghosts,” “Everything That’s Pretty,” “The Princess and Hustler,” “You Remain” and the title track “To the End.”
Some of his earlier hits include “$50 and a Flask of Crown,” “Finger on the Trigger,” “Little Bit Crazy,” “Black and White” and many others.
According to a January article in Rolling Stone, Edmondson said he needed to find his inspiration again and put out the recent album when he finally had enough songs he thought were worth recording. He turned to a fellow Texas musician and good friend, Wade Bowen, to produce the album.
Edmondson’s Breckenridge concert will be presented by the Friends of Historic Breckenridge, owners of the National Theatre, and presenting sponsor Blackhorse Mercantile & Cafe as the fourth show in the 2025-2026 Performance Series season.
The performance will take place on Saturday, Feb. 14, beginning at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
Tickets cost $30 for adults (18+) and $10 for students (17 and under) and may be purchased online through 3 p.m. Saturday. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the box office, based on availability. For those not wanting to make an online ticket purchase, a limited number of tickets are available to purchase (cash or check only) at Clear Fork Bank in Breckenridge.
Blackhorse will be providing beer and wine in the theater’s bar area for purchase. Customers must be 21 to purchase beer or wine, and a valid ID will be required. Bottled water will also be available for purchase.
