Becky Carey
Rebecca Carey, age 59, of Breckenridge, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 6, in the Necessity Cemetery. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
Rebecca Lynn Hester was born in Ranger, Texas, on November 15, 1966, to Roy Max Hester and Linda Ellen Jones. In 1980, she married Charles Carey, and the two were married for 45 years. Becky was known to be a gypsy soul and loved life but most of all she loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Ellen; her sister, Ellen Marie Carey; her grandparents, James and Mary Jones, Syvel Rebecca Hester; and one grandson, Chadley Carey.
Becky is survived by her husband, Charlie Carey; two children, Chuck Carey and wife Amber, and Candice Lynn Carey; grandchildren, Christian, April, Conner, Chase, Ellie and many others; her niece and nephew, Lindsey Carey, Chris Carey; great-nephews, Landen, Junior; and two great-grandchildren, Bryson and Isla.
