Boot House to host ‘Young at Art Show & Sell’ featuring student creations
Boot House Mercantile & Exchange, along with Becky Hicks Fine Art Studio & Gallery, will host “Young at Art Show & Sell” on Friday, Nov. 14, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 119 E. Walker St. It will be free and open to the Breckenridge community.
The event will feature student artists who have been learning new painting techniques and creating miniature artworks with Hicks. Attendees will have an opportunity to see live art demonstrations, purchase student-made pieces, and browse specialty merchandise created from the students’ art, including T-shirts, ornaments, prints and gifts.
Order sheets will be available for T-shirt purchases, with a two-week turnaround.
Light refreshments will be served.
Hicks invites the community to come out and support the young artists, who have “poured their hearts into their craft.”
