Brad Beale

Brad Beale, 66, of Breckenridge passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 30, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Genoa Goad officiating.

Bradley Jay Beale was born on March 4, 1959, in Red Cloud, Nebraska, to parents Elixis Jay Beale and Barbara Lee Carpenter Beale. After graduation he worked as a custom harvester before pursuing livestock transportation, which he developed a lifelong passion for. In 2021 he formed his own company, BC Beale Trucking. On September 10, 2021, he married the love of his life, Carla Parker-Reid, in Reno, Nevada, and the two built a home together in Breckenridge with plenty of land and room to enjoy time with kids and grandkids. Brad enjoyed fishing, watching old westerns, Kansas State football, and playing poker with his group in Graham. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family and was a member of Eolian Community Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dennis Beale and Terry Beale; sister, Kelly Sohl; and infant daughter, Jessica Beale.

Brad is survived by his loving wife, Carla Beale; four children, Caitlin Young and husband Reed, Matthew Beale, Rebecca Beale, and Amanda Howe and husband Patrick; two stepchildren, Randal Reid and wife Christi, and Keli Jo Bandy and husband Jace; one sister, Sue Foster and husband Bill Foster; and 11 grandchildren, Elliott, Rebecca and Tate Young; Taylor, Nicole and Braden Vandervord; Raylee and Randi Jo Reid; Brooks and Ellorie Jones; and Mitchell Bandy.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Big Country CASA in Abilene or to Virginia’s House in Graham. Condolences may be made online at www.morehartmortuary.net.
