Grace Raymond, the 2025 Miss Breckenridge, presented the Breckenridge Fire Department with a donation of $1,000 on Thursday morning, July 31, on behalf of the local pageant.

The funds were raised during this year’s pageant through the Most Popular contest. The audience at the Miss Breckenridge Pageant cast their votes for the Most Popular contestant by donating dollars in the contestants’ names.

Last year, the Miss Breckenridge Pageant added a philanthropic element to the event, designating a portion of the proceeds to be donated to a local organization. This year, the BFD was picked as the donation recipient.

Breckenridge Fire Chief Malcolm Bufkin said the fire department will use the funds to buy new uniforms for the firefighters.
