Bonnie Lee, 66, of Breckenridge, Texas, passed away on July 22, 2025. Her graveside service at Post Oak cemetery will be held on July 25, beginning at 10 a.m. with Dannie Lee officiating.

Bonnie Gay Mercer was born August 5, 1958, in Breckenridge, Texas, to parents James Marvin (Big Boy) Mercer and Barbara Whitley Mercer. She grew up following her dad’s shadow, riding and gathering cattle with him; she was her Dad’s little cowgirl.

On August 5, 1978, she married Dannie Lee during the 1978 flood. They spent 47 years together, and during that time, she loved the outdoors, whether it be camping, fishing, or just sightseeing. She really loved those family trips to Colorado. She was a loving mom and the greatest wife any man could ever have.

Bonnie is survived by husband, Dannie Lee; four children: Cory Lee and wife Carrie, B.J. Lee and wife Roxi, Toby Lee, Tiffany Wade and fiancé Jason Bussell. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Blake Lee, Chase Lee, Kaylee Lee, Braxton Wade, Kinzley Wade, Jayla Bussell, Parker Lee, and Vivienne Lee; her dad, Big Boy Mercer; her two sisters, Nancy Cary and husband Steve, and Fonda Mercer; and one brother, J. Mercer and wife Ty Mercer; niece, Denise Brian and husband Robert; and nephew, Miles Mercer and wife, Courtney.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Mercer.
