Gary Grose
Gary Grose, 64, of Breckenridge, passed away into Heaven on October 8, 2024. The family will be holding a memorial service at Melton-Kitchens Chapel on Saturday, October 26, 2024, beginning at 11 a.m. with Adam Dixon.
Gary was born January, 11, 1960, in Fayetteville, West Virginia. After High School he enlisted into the United States Air Force, where he served until his retirement from the military. Then he began driving a truck nationwide until he could not drive any longer. He loved driving and seeing new places. Gary hated to retire because he was man that had always worked and gave his best all he he did.
He and his wife, Kathy, later moved to Breckenridge in the summer of 2020 to be closer to his family. In their retirement, the couple worked on the home and enjoyed their four-legged babies. Throughout his life, it was always known that he loved serving his country and the relationships he made while in the Air Force. Gary also took great pride knowing that his two sons also joined the armed services.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; and his three children, Gary II, Raymond, and Amanda; and his grandchildren Zac, Cooper, Conner, Dylan, Keith, Jason, Maddi, Isabelle, Devin, Ezra, and Hanna.
Memorials can be made in Gary’s honor to the donor’s choice, and memorials may be left at the Melton Kitchens Funeral Home office. Condolences may be made at meltonkitchens.com.
