Lena Margrett McKenzie, age 82 of Breckenridge passed away, Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, November 18, at Morehart Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Cal Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in the Wayland Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 6 pm to 7:30 pm, Friday, November 17, at Morehart Mortuary.

Lena Margrett Duggan was born September 18, 1935, in Graham, Texas, to her parents, Cole Duggan and Lena McPherson. She married Joe McKenzie in Haltom City and was a loving mother, housewife and caregiver. Margrett loved dancing, music, fishing, baking, going to garage sales and spending time with her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe McKenzie; her four sons, Bobby Wade, Bill Wade, Don Wade, Ivie Wade; one stepson, Danny Wade; her parents, Cole and Lena Duggan.

Margaret is survived by two sons, Johnny Wade of Breckenridge and James Wade and wife Donna of Breckenridge; one brother, James Duggan of Breckenridge; two sisters, Billie Krantz and husband Bob of Gun Barrel City, Sue Williams of Breckenridge; five grandchildren, Tony Wade of Argyle, Johnny Wade of Breckenridge, Billy Bob Wade of Breckenridge, Devin Wade and wife Kaitlin of Breckenridge, Tanner Wade of Loveland, Colorado; six great-grandchildren, Landree Wade, Parker Wade, Braxton Wade, Kinzley Wade, Rylan Wade and Lucy Wade; seven nieces and nephews, Janna Martin, Janet Lawson, Wesley Duggan, Curtis Duggan, Tim Williams, Sandra Savoy and Pelom Williams.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the wonderful care provided for Margrett by Villa Haven, Covenant Outreach and Beyond Faith Hospice. Special thanks to Margrett’s guardian angel, Dianne Cramer.
