Covenant Tabernacle to host ‘Get Your Motor Running’ service on Sunday
Covenant Tabernacle Ministries will host a special “Get Your Motor Running” service on Sunday morning, Oct. 6, at the church’s new location, 515 N. Graham St.
The service will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will be open to everyone. It is being held to honor the Parker County Cossacks and the Stephens County Scimitars, who recently helped move the church’s property from its former location. The service will be held outdoors, and the church will serve dinner on the grounds after the service.
The event is being held to honor “these wonderful men who gave of their time to help us to move the church’s property without hesitation,” according to a statement from the church. “These men sacrificed their time for us, and we want to give back to them for that.”
Covenant Tabernacle also will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots program on Sunday.
