Breckenridge Independent School District will accept student referrals for the district’s Gifted & Talented (GT) program until Friday, Nov. 20.

The GT program is designed for students who exhibit intellectual and creative thinking abilities at an extraordinary level not normally served in the regular classroom.  Referred students will undergo a battery of assessments to determine if they should receive gifted/talented services.

Anyone wishing to refer a student who currently attends BISD should visit the student’s campus office and request a copy of the referral form. Those unable to go by the school can call the campus to request that a form be sent to them.
