Tim Lee Jones
Tim L. Jones, 68, of Breckenridge, passed away peacefully at home on August 11, 2026. Tim lived a wonderful life centered around family, friendship, laughter, and making memories with those he loved. He was known for his infectious laugh, a sound that brought joy to everyone around him.
Tim had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and hunting. He had a passion for hot rods and was well known for his badass burnouts. He was also a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan who rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his team. Some of his favorite moments were spent surrounded by family and friends at crawfish boils and fish fries. Tim loved vacations, concerts and fishing with his cousins Chuck and Becky Jones. He also cherished dancing with his beloved wife in their tiki room at home, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Tim will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 22 years, LaQuida Jones; his sons, Justin Jones (Ashleigh) and Eric Jones (Allison); and his stepchildren, Kayla Ellis (Ronny) and Jason Spencer. He was a proud grandfather to Walker, Jakob, Elise, Ward, Jackson, and Ryder.
Tim is also survived by his siblings, Cheryl Reeves and Royce Jones; his mother-in-law, Mary Reatherford; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Retha and William Thomas Jones.
Tim’s legacy of love, laughter, friendship, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Whether gathered around a fish fry, admiring a hot rod, watching the Cowboys play, or sharing one of his unforgettable laughs, Tim’s memory will be cherished for generations to come.
