BHS Class of 1981 reunion organizers announce changes to July 24-25 schedule
Reunion organizers have announced a couple of changes to the schedule for the Breckenridge High School Class of 1981 45-year reunion, set for July 24–25.
Friday, July 24
The festivities will kick off at 6:30 p.m. upstairs at Neri’s Courtyard, 223 W. Walker St. Class members can order off the menu and enjoy Karaoke Night at Neri’s.
Saturday, July 25
The main gathering will be at the 1911 Venue, located at 124 W. Williams St., across from the post office, starting at 1 p.m. Saturday. Attendees are invited to socialize, bring games or cards, bring guitars for a jam circle, and bring snacks to share; it will be BYOB.
Alternative Activity (2-4 p.m.): While the 1911 Venue will remain open all day, Nanette (Boaz) Cowain invites anyone who would like to swim and visit to come to her home at 4 Sendero Road. Those attending are encouraged to bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, lawn chairs (BYOC), BYOB, and snacks.
Dinner & Evening Festivities (6 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.): The evening celebration at the 1911 Venue will include a catered dinner by Ernie’s with fajitas and all the fixings. The night will include optional karaoke, and dancing after dinner to 1970s, ’80s, and ’90s country and rock; it will be BYOB.
