Stephens County DA’s office announces plea deals for April, May and June

Stephens County District Attorney Dee Peavy has announced the following cases pleaded in the 90th Judicial Court for April, May and June.
April 2026
- Clint Wayne Dossey, 47, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Theft of Property More Than $2,500 but Less Than $30,000 – Lesser Included Offense, and was sentenced to 12 months confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – State Jail Division (TDCJ-SJ) and was ordered to pay $500 fine, court cost and restitution.
- Francisco Javier Miranda, 35, Graham, pleaded true to the violations alleged in the State’s Motion to Revoke community supervision for the offense of Assault Family/Household Member Impede Breath with Previous Conviction, and was sentenced to five years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – Institutional Division (TDCJ-ID), and was ordered to pay court cost.
- Christian Scott Goswick, 21, Cisco, pleaded guilty to the offense of Burglary of Habitation, and was sentenced to five years confinement in the TDCJ-ID, and was ordered to pay court cost; and pleaded true to the violations alleged in the State’s Motion to Proceed to Adjudicate community supervision, and was sentenced to 24 months confinement in the TDCJ, and was ordered to pay court cost.
- Brian Scott Trombly, 41, Graford, pleaded true to the violations alleged in the State’s Motion to Revoke community supervision for the offense of Theft of Property $2,500 or More but Less Than $30,000, and was sentenced to nine months confinement in the TDCJ-SJ, and was ordered to pay court cost.
- Breanna Lynn Melton, 34, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle, and was sentenced to 273 days confinement in the TDCJ-SJ, and was ordered to pay $500 fine and court cost.
- Jose Gilberto Vargas, 26, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Burglary of Habitation, and was sentenced to 10 years community supervision, and was ordered to pay $1,200 fine, court cost and restitution.
- Jonathan Douglas Nicks, 41, Weatherford, pleaded guilty to the offense of Misapplication of Fiduciary or Financial Property, and was sentenced to four years community supervision, and was ordered to pay court cost and restitution.
May 2026
- Casandra Renee Arriola, 33, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Assault Public Servant, and was sentenced to eight years confinement in the TDCJ-ID and was ordered to pay $2,500 fine and court cost.
- Angelo Celedonio Santos, 48, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Fail to Comply Sex Offenders Duty to Register Life/Annual, and was sentenced to four years confinement in the TDCJ-ID and was ordered to pay $1,500 fine and court cost.
- Jason Devon Brothers, 34, Abilene, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1/1-B – One Gram or More but Less Than Four Grams – Methamphetamine, and was sentenced to six years community supervision, and was ordered to pay $2,500 fine, court cost and restitution.
- Mark Anthony Munoz, 52, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1/1-B Less Than One Gram – Methamphetamine, and was sentenced to four years community supervision, and was ordered to pay $1,500 fine, court cost and restitution.
- Troy Anthony Aikman, 29, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Injury to Child – Criminal Negligence, and was sentenced to four years community supervision, and was ordered to pay $500 fine and court cost.
June 2026
- Colby Alvin Blades, 59, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Driving While Intoxicated, Third or More, and was sentenced to 15 years confinement in the TDCJ-ID and was ordered to pay $6,000 fine, court cost and restitution.
- Anthony Sterling Sell, 22, Baird, pleaded true to the violations alleged in the State’s Motion to Revoke community supervision for the offense of Fail to Comply Sex Offender Duty to Register – 10 Years, and was sentenced to 15 months confinement in the TDCJ-SJ, and was ordered to pay court cost.
- Hayler Marie Sommer, 25, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Injury to a Child – Criminal Negligence, and was sentenced to four years Community Service, and was ordered to pay $1,000 fine and court cost.
- Mandy Kay Mendez, 42, Breckenridge, pleaded guilty to the offense of Tampering with a Witness, and was sentenced to three years community supervision, and was ordered to pay $1,000 fine and court cost.
