Lisa Otts
Lisa Otts, 72, of Breckenridge, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and family. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, at the Breckenridge Cemetery. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
Melissa Jean Thomas was born August 16, 1953, in Breckenridge, Texas, to Jack Thomas and Margaret Pace Thomas. On September 12, 1969, she married her high school sweetheart, Clayton Otts, Jr., in Breckenridge, Texas. Lisa, better known as Granny, was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and grandkids. She spent many days playing in a tent with Nick, sharing her love of cooking with Madison, or cheering on her youngest, Cali, at softball and volleyball.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Margaret Thomas; two brothers, Jack Thomas and John Thomas and his wife Carol Ann; and two sisters, Diane Andrews and Sandra Thomas.
Lisa is survived by her husband of 56 years, Clayton Otts, Jr; one son, Matt Otts and wife Gina; one brother, Dennis Thomas and wife Red; one sister-in-law, Velva Thomas; three grandchildren, Nick Otts and wife Sheila, Mattie Otts and Cali Otts.
