Breckenridge Chamber to host scholarship golf tournament on March 21
The Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce will host the Johnny Bates Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament on Saturday, March 21, at the Breckenridge Country Club.
The tournament will raise funds for scholarships for the Breckenridge High School 2026 graduating class. The Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce will award four scholarships at $500 each.
The event will be an 18-hole scramble with tee times scheduled for 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Golfers participating in the tournament are invited to lunch at noon, and all participants will receive a complimentary event golf towel.
It is a two-person scramble with cash payouts. The fee to enter is $200 per two-person team.
Teams may register for the tournament in two ways. Participants who wish to pay and register in advance may do so online at https://square.link/u/UEObDq0s. Those planning to pay on the day of the tournament are still asked to register their team ahead of time using the form at https://forms.gle/BAbYiMG8XaEdr5nM9.
In addition to the payout, there will be a Hole in One contest with a prize of $10,000 for an entry fee of $25 per person. There will also be a ball draw ($25 to enter) and door prizes.
