The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center will host its annual Casino Night fundraiser on Saturday, March 7. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for an evening of casino-style games, light food and beverages, raffles, auctions, and community fellowship — all in support of the arts.

Tickets cost $50 each or two for $90 and are available online at https://form.jotform.com/253434266538159 or in person at 207 N. Breckenridge Ave. in Breckenridge. “Only 150 tickets will be sold for this year’s event, helping create an intimate and energetic atmosphere while raising vital funds for programming at the Fine Arts Center,”  said Robyn Brooks, director of the BFAC, in a news release. “Proceeds from Casino Night directly support adult and children’s art classes, rotating exhibitions and the daily operations that allow the BFAC to remain a vibrant gathering place for the community and surrounding areas.”

Attendees can participate in classic casino-style games, as well as bid on auction and raffle items. Featured packages include artwork, home décor items, a Saint Laurent purse, sports tickets, and a concert package to see comedian Nate Bargatze, paired with a hotel stay. Some of the donations include artwork by Shalon Taylor-Wilson, Doylene Land, Martha Sullivan and Cass (aka Cassey Hillock), as well as several unsigned pieces.

Last week, Brooks announced that CC Farms will cater Casino Night, offering a variety of made-from-scratch bites, including shrimp and grits, cowboy meatballs, and a charcuterie spread.

“Think cocktail-style food served in easy-to-hold containers so you can grab a bite and head right back to the tables,” Brooks said in a Facebook post. “Not a sit-down dinner — more like: eat – play – win – repeat.”

The dress code will be casual with guests encouraged to show up in everything from elegant to casual attire. Brooks said Casino Night will offer a welcoming environment to gather with friends while supporting a cause that strengthens the cultural life of the region.

“This event truly matters to me,” Brooks said. “Creating and experiencing beautiful art enriches our lives in ways that are sometimes hard to measure but deeply felt. Casino Night helps provide the funding that makes art classes, exhibitions, and community programming possible here in Breckenridge and in surrounding communities. It’s a fun evening, but it also has a meaningful purpose.”
