National Theatre to host Maggie Amini, Kevin Singleton for Dec. 6 performance
The Friends of Historic Breckenridge and the National Theatre of Breckenridge will present musicians Maggie Amini and Kevin Singleton in concert on Saturday, Dec. 6.
The event, which serves as the third show of the 2025-2026 Performance Series season, is presented by sponsor Blackhorse Mercantile & Cafe. The performance will begin at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m.
Tickets cost $30 for adults ages 18 and older, and $10 for students ages 17 and younger. Online ticket sales will conclude at 3 p.m. on the day of the show. Tickets will be available for purchase at the box office based on availability. Click here for online tickets.
A limited number of physical tickets are available for purchase at Clear Fork Bank in Breckenridge. These transactions are cash or check only. All sales are final, and refunds will be issued only in the event of a show cancellation.
Maggie Amini’s music is described as being “deeply rooted in faith and family.” Her musical background includes time spent teaching in the Dominican Republic, where she launched a music program for young girls and a high school choir.
Amini’s discography includes “Songs of Home” (2020), a collection of hymns; “Sanctuary Sessions” (2024), featuring live renditions of original songs; and the holiday album “So This Is Christmas.” Notable tracks include “All Who Are Thirsty” and “’Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus.”
Kevin Singleton is a Grammy Award-winning songwriter, cross-cultural musician and social entrepreneur. He has performed for more than 4 million people in 20 countries.
In 2009, Singleton founded Elevate New York, a nonprofit mentoring program accredited by the New York City Department of Education. He joined the Elevate USA national team as VP of Leadership and Development in 2022 and co-founded the nonprofit Trellis Inc. the same year. He also trains musical worship leaders at Adoration House Seattle.
Blackhorse will provide beer and wine for purchase in the bar area. Patrons must be 21 or older and present a valid ID to purchase alcohol. Bottled water will also be available.
The concert is part of the fourth annual Performance Series, which began in 2022. Other concerts in this year’s series include the Reid Bros., who performed on Sept. 20, and Three Fools on Three Stools, who performed on Nov. 8, as well as upcoming shows by Bleu Edmonson on Feb. 14 and David Lewis on March 28.
The National Theatre, located at 116 E. Walker St. in downtown Breckenridge, is owned by Friends of Historic Breckenridge.
