Zach Smith
Zachery Smith, 19, of Breckenridge, died on October 19, 2025. His memorial service at CC Farms, Breckenridge, will be held on Thursday, October 30, beginning at 10 a.m., with JB Sparks officiating.
Zachery Ryan Smith, “Slim,” was born on March 8, 2006, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Zach lit up every room he walked into. He was the life of the party, a goofball who loved making people laugh. Zach was sweet, caring, and always willing to help friends and family. He absolutely loved dancing around and having a good time.
Zach was still so young and had so much more to experience in life. He would have really gone places if given the chance he should have had. A determined young man, Zach had just moved into his first place and was so excited for this new step he had worked so hard towards.
Zach’s family was incredibly proud of how he was accomplishing his goals, and he was genuinely so excited to decorate and start his adult life.
Zach is survived by his mother, Melissa Azevedo; father, Christopher Smith; bonus mom, Brandy Wallace; sister, Destynee Cole; brother, Andrew Smith; grandparents, Brenda and Gary Smith, Dawn and Jon Gilchrist, George Azevedo and Rhonda Johnson, Jana Powers, Lottie Wallace; great-grandfather Ron Markham; great-grandparents LE and Marsha Nunley, Nana (Carol Nunley); aunts and uncles, Jessie Azevedo, Mike Azevedo, Herb Wallace, Charlotte Carter, Faith Lopez, Mary Delp; great-aunts and -uncles Jeff Markham, Laurie Webber, Paula Gutierrez and Daniel Scurlock, Glenda Newsome and Willie Peterson; girlfriend, Joelin Vite; cousins Micaela, Olivia Cassie, Tiffanie, Veronika, Jessika, Aundrea, Alyssia and many more.
We are beyond proud to call Zach our son, brother, nephew, grandson, cousin, family and friend.
Our dearest Zach was taken from us all way too soon; he will forever be held with love and memories within our hearts. Knowing Zach will be residing with passed loved ones gives us hope he will be at peace.
